Halp!

i need help!!! as said in my earlier post, my memory on my :/c drive is being eaten up!!! the capacity on the drive is 150gb, and only 10gb or less was being used.  i woke up one day, and little to no space is being used on the drive. after i deleted some stuff, the drive went to being full AGAIN! i don't know what the problem is....please help! i used this earlier, and it kinda helped @ http://forums.cnet.com/7723-12546_102-295044.html


tl;dr really need to finish up some HW and sum art....but my computer is being retarded ;_;

  1. Haha I had 400gb and I still have 89gb left. You should get a 2tb drive.

  3. Photoshop can use a good portion of the scratch disk while in use. If PS is off and it's like this, it may have saved something.

  4. Personally I find the easiest way to do this is to enable "Show hidden files and folders" and "System Folders". Then goto your hard drive, right click each one then properties and you'll soon find out what one is holding the most space, if its in Windows the folder "Installer" can sometimes get clogged and messy too" but you'll have to narrow it down, you could also select more than one folder at a time to do the "properties search"

  6. Yikes, sounds like a serious problem. Run in safe mode, do a search for all files and try to see if you can figure it out.

    One of the very few useful tools to keep your C: (and overall disk space) as clean as possible.

  8. HEY! @ Willow, when i tried to run photoshop, it said it needed to run scratch disk or whatever u mentioned on my other drive. I'm begining to think that i need to delete system 32 for real, and reinstall doors
